Louise is the Principal of Kaitāia College and the current Vice-President of SPANZ (Secondary Principals Association of NZ). She was the recipient of the Sir Peter Blake Leadership Award in 2013, and under her leadership at Flaxmere College, the school won the Supreme Award at the Prime Minister’s Education Excellence Awards in 2018. Louise was the recipient of MNZOM (Member of NZ Order of Merit) for her services to education in 2021.  Louise remains passionate about advocating and serving her fellow principal colleagues.
