Mere Berryman  

Mere Berryman has tribal affiliations to Ngāi Tūhoe, Ngāti Awa and Ngāti Whare. She has a long background in schooling and is currently a Professor in the School of Education at the University of Waikato, New Zealand. Her research involves working with educators to understand the educational disparities for clearly identifiable groups of learners, including Māori. Mere researches and publishes in this field.
